Let me introduce you to what the Blue Lotus Farm has to offer:
The 14 acre display garden of exotic lotus and waterlillies has the following features:-
1.Two lakes, one with ten islands connected by twelve bridges (including three arched bridges)
********all islands are surrounded by a mass of colourful flowers.************
2.Three smaller dams with hundreds of flowering waterlillies and lotus edged by many exotic plants.
3. An area of river flats that have been landscaped with eighty small ponds filled with over fifty varietys of lotus The ponds contain hundreds of plants generating thousands of blooms daily.
4.The backdrop to the property, situated in the Upper Yarra Valley is the gran peaks of the Mt Donna Buang Ranges. The Little Yarra River and the Britannia Creek account for two of the property's boundaries.
5.The whole garden is landscaped with native and exotic trees and shrubs. Walking tracks with shade structures and picnic facilities have been constructed so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the aroma of thousands of flowers in bloom.
6.Three hothouses display:-- Tropical waterlillies featuring the Charles Winch collection.
-- Australian native Lotus and Waterlillies and other native aquatics.
-- Spectacular South American giant waterlilly Victoria Cruziania
7. We have a retail nursery selling potted lotus, waterlillies and other plants, plus pond equipment andgarden ornaments. Fresh flowers, Lotus products,postcards, etc. are also available.

LADIES SOMETHING SPECIAL! our boutique that especially caters for the mature lady, stocking alarge range of Black Pepper, Yvonne Black and Earth collection brands, while not forgetting the young at heart.We pride ourselves on giving each customer helpful advice and service with old fashioned country friendliness.Our prices are very competitive to suit a moderate budget.
9. Enjoy a coffee, cake or light lunch overlooking the magnificent flowering lotus and waterlillies..Or bring your own picnic lunch (coin in the slot BBQ’s available)

You don't need a pond to grow water lilies and lotus!
We specialize in container grown plants –
1. Ceramic, Terracotta and plastic pots with beautiful flowering lotus & water lilies.
2. Bowl lotus (miniature lotus) our specialty, ideal for sunny patios, verandas or backyards. Many new and exciting varieties to be released from December.
All potted plants are contained in black plastic bags and can travel for 2-3 hours in the boot of your car.
Mail Order Opens: 1st september and runs till the 30th march.
Nursery, Display Garden and Boutique all open on the 8th November till 30th March.
