Conditions of Entry

The Blue Lotus Water Garden has many water features that are not fenced including lakes, ponds, lagoons, waterways and elevated walkways that can be dangerous. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst visiting the gardens.

It is an express condition of your entry and your participation in the activities conducted by the Blue Lotus Water Garden and its associated businesses, that you do hereby, for yourself, your heirs, executors, assigns and next-of-kin and each of them release, waive and discharge Blue Lotus Water Garden, its owners G & Y Cochrane, managers, employees, agents and contractors from all liability, claims or demands for all injuries, losses, damages of any kind or nature to your person or property or to that of any minor under your supervision, whilst on the property of Blue Lotus Water Garden, G & Y Cochrane, Blue Lotus Farm and Blue Lotus Retail Plant Nursery.

All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• We do not offer refunds due to weather conditions, temporary closures, or if any areas of the   gardens are closed for maintenance, special events or for any other reason.
• No BYO alcoholic beverages allowed.
• No pets allowed other than authorised assistant or guide dogs.
• No pushbikes, skateboards, rollerblades, skates, scooters.
• No fireworks, bangers or whistles.
• No illegal drugs or weapons.
• No amplified music without written authorisation by management.
• No filming or photography for commercial purposes without prior written consent from management of the Blue Lotus Water Garden.
• No drones are not permitted for use on the property without prior written consent from the Blue Lotus Water Garden.
• While visiting the gardens you may be filmed, photographed or recorded for marketing and advertising purposes, if you wish for this not to occur, you must notify the Blue Lotus Water Garden in writing prior to your visit.
• CCTV surveillance cameras in use.

The Blue Lotus Water Garden reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with the conditions of entry. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and eject persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who are disorderly, or engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade admission. Management reserves the right to inspect any bags, clothing and other items at all entry points or within the gardens at any time. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons carrying a prohibited item. Persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times whilst in the grounds of the Blue Lotus Water Garden.

Online Tickets (E-Tickets)
Entry to The Blue Lotus Water Garden is granted by presenting a printed or mobile E-Ticket to staff at the ticket counter along with eligibility proof for concession tickets being Victorian Seniors Card, National Seniors Card, Australian Student Card, Aged Pension Card or Disability Pension Card. Your E-Ticket will be scanned at the entry point to the garden (ticket counter) and you will be provided a date stamped paper ticket with garden map which can be used as a pass out for the day of your visit.

E-Tickets are valid form the date of purchase until the 22nd April 2019. If the ticket has not been used by the 22nd of April 2019 the ticket will be made void and no refund will be given.
• E-Tickets can only be used once for entry on one day between the 27th December 2018 – 22nd April 2019 during operating hours.
• E-Tickets are non-refundable. Lost, damaged and stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
• E-Tickets cannot be transferred or on sold to another person or party.
• E-Tickets can be purchased through the Trybooking website using a major credit card. Your account will be debited at the time of ordering and payment processing and transaction fees will apply and added to your ticket cost. All prices include GST.
• When purchasing an E-Ticket, the customer is agreeing to give access to their name, email address, post code and any other personal information entered to the Blue Lotus Water Garden and its associated businesses. These details will be held confidentially by Blue Lotus Water Garden and used for processing, marketing and research purposes only.
• E-Tickets will be sent via email including confirmation details. The E-Ticket must be presented at garden entry point (ticket counter) by way of print or mobile device. The barcode or IQ code must be clearly visible and able to be scanned to obtain entry.
• Blue Lotus Water Garden reserves the right to adjust operating hours without prior notice.
• We do not offer refunds due to adverse weather or if the gardens are temporarily closed because of extreme weather, natural disasters, or for any other reason.

Gate Tickets and other Ticket types
Tickets may be purchased from the Blue Lotus Water Garden ticket counter with cash, EFTPOS or a major credit card.

General admission, concession and group tickets purchased from the ticket counter and are valid for the date stamped on the ticket for use by one person to enter the garden between the hours of 10am-5pm on that day only.
• Children 0-15 years of age are free and don’t require a ticket (excluding school groups). However, all children must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket or season pass. Any person aged 16 years or older is considered an adult.
• Concession tickets are only available to Seniors, Students and Disability Pensioners, to be eligable you must provide proof. Cards accepted are Victorian Seniors Card, National Seniors Card, Australian Student Card, Australian Aged Pension Card or Australian Disability Pension Card. We do NOT accept any other pension or concession cards.
• Carers may enter the gardens free if they are assisting someone with a disability that has a ticket, on the condition the carer shows staff a valid Companion or Carers Card.
• Season Passes are valid form the date of purchase until the 22nd April 2019 for entry of the pass holder only. The bearer of the season pass has access to the Garden’s during operating hours on any day between the 27th December 2018 – 22nd of April 2019 on the condition they show their pass to staff at the ticket counter.
• Group tickets must be pre-booked a minimum of 24 hours prior to visit and paid for in one transaction.
• Promotional and free tickets must be handed to staff at the ticket counter in return for a date stamped paper ticket. The same use conditions apply as general admission tickets.
• All ticket types are non-refundable. Lost, damaged and stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
• All ticket types cannot be transferred or on sold to another person or party.

• All credit card purchases are made through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) merchant facility. Payment information is securely and confidentially processed by the CBA. If you believe any unauthorised use of your credit card has occurred, please contact your bank directly.

Refund Policy – All ticket types.
We do not offer refunds due to adverse weather or if the gardens are temporarily closed because of extreme weather or natural disasters.

We do not offer refunds for people who have been ejected from the property or for any other reason.

We do not offer refunds due to areas of the gardens being closed for maintenance, special events or for any other reason.

We do not offer refunds because a customer’s E-Ticket will become void before they have an opportunity to redeem it.
