Before You Visit
Over the past 9 months, our team continued to work hard behind the scenes getting ready to welcome visitors again. From nurturing our beautiful gardens and creating new features to rearranging a few things so visitors have more space and feel relaxed as they enjoy the wonders of nature.
We want to keep everyone as safe as possible when you visit the gardens this summer. Therefore, we have implemented a Covid Safe Plan which requires a few things visitors need to know before you come.
Before you come
Please Don’t come if your unwell, been in a hotspot or had contact with a Covid-19 case.
If you or any of your group have any cold or flu symptoms. If you or any of your group has recently travelled from a declared hotspot in Australia or overseas, or been in contact with someone with a suspected or known case of COVID-19, we politely ask that you delay your visit for another time! For the safety of our crew and other visitors, we will require anyone we suspect of the above to immediately leave the gardens.
Victorian Contact Tracing QR Code
We require visitors to scan the QR code before entering the gardens or leave their first name and phone number in our visitors register.
Face masks, social distancing, hygiene, etc
It’s compulsory by Victorian law (unless exempt) that all people over the age of 12 must carry a face mask and use it if you cannot socially distance. We recommended visitors should wear your mask in busy covered areas (e.g., ticket foyer) or other areas where it’s hard to keep your distance from people you don’t know.
We have also provided hand sanitiser outside and inside all toilet buildings, plant nursery, front entrance and in other locations.
We also ask visitors to be mindful of others when coughing or sneezing and please use good etiquette by covering your mouth & nose. If you have a persistent couch, please stay home and see a medical practitioner.
Online Tickets – Weekends & Public Holidays
We recommended visitors book online tickets if visiting on a weekend or public holiday, to guarantee entry. We have a limited number of over-the-counter tickets available during busy times and maybe sold out when you arrive.
If you visit mid-week (except public holidays). Pre-booking online tickets is NOT essential, as we generally have plenty of counter tickets available.
Conditions of Entry
We require all people entering our property to agree to our Conditions of Entry which include a Covid-19 Health Declaration. To view the conditions – click here
