Health Precautions

What You Need To Know

If you or any member of your group have Covid 19 or are waiting for Covid 19 test results or have flu like symptoms or are considered a close contact. Please don’t attend the gardens and follow the advice of the health department.

Covid19 – Victorian Government Vaccination Requirements
The Blue Lotus Water Garden is considered a tourist venue by the Victorian Government and therefore all visitors aged 18 years or older are required to be fully vaccinated with an approved Covid19 vaccine or have an exemption to be allowed to enter the gardens.  The government also requires our staff to check all visitors aged 18 or over for proof of vaccination or exemption prior to entry.

We kindly ask all garden visitors to please have their digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate connected to the Services Victoria QR code app. This will help us speed up the check-in process when entering the garden. Other eligible proofs of vaccination include a COVID-19 digital certificate on your smartphone wallet or a paper-copy of your Immunisation History Statement, or an eligible proof of exemption. We thank all our visitors and customers in advance for their patience and understanding if these requirements cause delays in processing your admission to the garden.

However, customers wishing to ONLY access the retail plant nursery, garden shop or gift shop (located outside of the gardens), no proof of vaccination is requried.

Face Masks
All visitors aged 8 years and above must carry a face mask with them and wear it in the following cirrcumstances:
• Any INDOOR areas such as toilets, recepetion/ticket foyer, gift shop and glasshouses.
• When you cannot keep 1.5m distance from others.
We also recommend customers where a face mask when being served by one of our staff.

Check-In Requirements

The Victorian Government requires all visitors to check-in on using the Services Victoria QR app. For visitors that cannot use the app, you will be required to leave your name and phone number in our visitor register.
