Lotus Flower Season

26th December – 31st March

If you’re looking for a tropical paradise surrounded by a mass display of lotus flowers, then our Lotus Flower Season will not disappoint. The gardens contain over 40 waterways that have been planted with over 70 varieties of sacred lotus flowers.

From late December until late March tens of thousands of lotus flowers produce the primary floral display in the garden. The peak of the lotus flower blooming period is usually January and February. There is also an amazing array of waterlily flowers during summer that complement the lovely lotus. Both types of water flowers combine to produce a visually spectacular display across the entire garden.

But it’s not just lotus flowers on show, during summer and early autumn is also when our extensive tropical gardens and many of our other featured attractions look their best. To find out more, scroll down to our attractions and experiences section.

And on weekends and public holidays we offer activities for the little ones including visits from the Fairy Queen. The garden is a great family venue with fantastic picnic facilities and plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore nature.
